What are the best places in Michigan or Wisconsin for fall colors?
Q. Hey there, we would like to check out the fall colors this year. I know Door county is good- Any other suggestions of awesome places in Wisconsin or Michigan for seeing fall colors?

A. I used to live in Michigan and Wisconsin. Best places for seeing colors in both states is along the coastline of Lake Michigan. Door County does have beautiful fall coloring but it is ultra-touristy and expensive, but if that doesn't matter, than that would be a good place. Also, my absolute favorite spot for fall colors was actually the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Absolutely amazing - especially in the Keewanaw Peninsula part of it. It's also called Copper Harbor. You go through Houghton and Hancock and just keep driving North. Eventually you will hit the end of the state and be on a peninsula full of nothing but colored trees. Look it up for directions. You won't be disappointed!
