A. open your phone book and call the county clerk. he/she will be able to tell you how to find one in your area. --- try to aim for grants/scholarships more... they are not to be paid back. its confusing sometimes, but just keep applying. Scholarships usually have a 1 or 2 page application, and require an essay. Take your time with the essay, so yours stands out. every big (and small) company you see (manufacturer, orgs, corps and groups also) all have grants and scholarships they hand out like candy. Walmart, Kmart, Target, Coke, computer companies etc etc etc here are some links with a HUGE list of what is available. some you will need to copy and paste into a new window. also, fastweb (take the time to fill it in) will search databases… [cont.]

Does anybody have Free furniture or couch or home stuff that u dont want?
Q. i just moved in to a house, but unfortunetly we do not have enough money to make our house homey all we have is the bed and fidge and stove, does anyone have old furniture or couch that they do not need anymore or any homey stuff that would help us fill in our house and create a homey atmosphere. please let me know i'd appriciate it alot. we live in weslaco texas in the rio grande valley a city in between macallen and south padre island. thanks :)

A. Go to and find the Freecycle groups in your area. People give away stuff they don't want any more and some is really nice. I have given away a refrigerator and gotten a great recliner, a good working vacuum ., DVD;s for ex. Some groups require that you offer to give away something before you can get something but that can be anything from coupons to outgrown clothes, to videos you no longer watch, to packing boxes. Your local radio station may have a swap shop program too where stuff is free. Listen or check put their web site
