Is Christianshavn in Copenhagen a safe and nice area to stay in as a tourist?
Q. I am looking for accommodation and I wouldn't like to rent anything in a dangerous area.

A. I would suggest that the renting agent should be a local one in the area who uses a web site. It will reduce your income from the rent but get the arrangement that they get a percentage of the rent. That way they will only earn money when they rent out. If I were looking for a rent site to rent from I would google. The sites which come up first for me are going to be the ones which come up first for others who want to rent. If you do the same, it will show what I, as a renter will see. This one looked good to me and was on the first page after I googled and got thousands

Halal food in Copenhagen city and hostels nearby?
Q. Hi, me and my friend is visiting Copenhagen in June 2009 and looking for an accommodation (probably a hostel or something). Can anyone recommend a place where its easy to get halal food. I am not sure how big is Copenhagen but we don t want to be too far away from the tourist spots either. Any help would be appreciated.

A. Try the Danhostel Copenhagen City It's right near Tivoli, Town Halll Square and other main tourist sites. And Copenhagen is such a small city that nothing is more than a 20-30 minute walk, or you can borrow the free Citybikes (deposit required that is returned when you return the bike)
