I am thinking of becoming a newspaper carrier for coin-operated racks. How much can I expect to make?
Q. I am thinking of becoming a newspaper carrier for coin-operated racks. How much can I expect to make? I live in Panama City, FL. Thanks!

A. Difficult question to answer, because it would depend on how many racks you would service and how many papers you distributed. I agree with the first post, that it is not a lucrative venture, however you would make some money.

Is anyone else thinking about what to make for Thanksgiving already?
Q. I am hosting my husband's family for Thanksgiving this year and I am already thinking about what to make beyond the turkey. Also, would non-traditional desserts (chocolate truffles) be ok or should I stick with pumpkin pie/cheesecake? Does anyone have any great ideas for sides?

How can I stop thinking about what others are achieving and start concentrating on myself?
Q. I have alot of distractions at the moment. Somebody who really hurt me is supposedly perfect to everyone else, so perfect to the point it is sickening :( I know I am wasting time thinking about what he is achieving when I could be a better person if I could just focus on me. Help :~ I don't want this to make me go backwards.

A. I think you have already partially answered the question yourself: Start concentrating on what you do well and put forth more effort into expanding that. You've already realized that it's not doing you any good thinking about what others are achieving - it's time you forget about them before you work yourself up and let the negativity take over. We all have setbacks in life and that's part of the challenge of self improvement: Analyze what happened, think about what you can do to change it, then take action! Is it really going to matter what someone else has achieved 10 years from now? You may not even have any contact with this person by then, so what does it matter? Perfectionistic behavior is, in itself, considered by many… [cont.]
