Q. My daughter is 13 and she says she wants to shop by herself, but im not sure how old she has to be before she can go out by herself. She yoused 2 get embarresed when i would come in with her when she was like 12 so i would give her some money and wait for her right outside the store. But she wants to actually start like shopping with her friends bythemselves. What should i say?

A. I know it's hard to give her more and more free privileges, but your better off letting her have the comfort of being able to ask you openly to go someplace with your permission then her sneaking behind your back to places. I mean, let's face it: people always want what they can't have. Believe me, I'm thirteen too, and I get to shop by myself now, in small malls in my town. If your talking about a big mall, then no, she's not quite at that yet. Get the opinion of a few parents if your not sure, and ask around and phone up her friends' parents to see what they think. If they say yes, their comfortable with it then sure, give it a try. Give her a cell phone to carry with her, and make sure there are rules set. Have her call you every so… [cont.]

What are some good shopping carts for my website?
Q. I have a fully finished website with all the product pages done and everything. I need a shopping cart that will use Google Checkout and that can also process credit cards. So I can add a button to each page that says "Add to Cart" or something. Does anyone know any good, cheap ones? Thanks.

Looking for a meal planning site with customization, shopping list and diet features?
Q. I've checked out a few popular meal planning sites, but none of them are quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for an automated meal planner (so that it populates itself based on my preferences) which allows me to swap out meals that I'm not too keen on, provides a shopping list, and considers dietary information (such as calories per day). Ideally, the shopping list would be optimized for the week (so I'm not buying groceries that are completely separate from each day's meal recommendations). I'm willing to pay for such a site.

A. Give All Recipes a try. They have Weight Watchers and diet recipes on their site They also have when you chose a recipe it can be converted into a shopping list. I hope this is what you're looking for.
