I have a uni assignment for my academic literacies class, asking me to write about whether or not the attributes of creativity, flexiblity and communication are important in my chosen field - psychology. Working with patients, clients, students a psychologist has to come up with different ways to relate, to convey thoughts, and work with people. When something doesn't work, something else has to be tried. People vary in intelligence, experience and age (working with children vs. older adults) and all require different techniques.
