Are the attributes of creativity, flexibility and good communication important in an effective psychologist?
Q. I have a uni assignment for my academic literacies class, asking me to write about whether or not the attributes of creativity, flexiblity and communication are important in my chosen field - psychology. Just looking for an outside opinion, and new thoughts on the question.

A. Absolutely. Working with patients, clients, students a psychologist has to come up with different ways to relate, to convey thoughts, and work with people. When something doesn't work, something else has to be tried. People vary in intelligence, experience and age (working with children vs. older adults) and all require different techniques. I don't know of one psychologist who hasn't modified techniques working with clients. Interesting assignment...(psychologis t/college prof)
