What do babies born in winter wear for outdoors and indoors?
Q. I am due in Jan, 2009. I am wondering what kind of clothes are warm enough for babies indoors and outdoors. Will the onesies do for indoors, or does the baby need more? Should the baby be dressed in multiple layers for outdoors. How much will be too warm for the baby? Thanks!

A. I had my baby in January of this year and I used to put her in 'sleepers' you know the ones with the feet and maybe a onesie underneath. I covered her with a blankie whenever she was napping ( and I was right there to supervise ) Just make sure you dont overdress them, they dont need hats indoors ecspecially while sleeping...overheating can cause sleep apnea which could be dangerous. I would buy a onepiece snow suit for outside with built in gloves. And always make sure they have a hat when its cold..and make sure its over thier ears.

How to keep a dark blue car that's parked outdoors shiny?
Q. My car is a solid (non metallic) midnight blue color and it has to be parked outdoors. The color oxidizes fairly quickly. I polish it in the fall but come summer the paint will turn chalky again. Is there anything that will really protect the paint? I've been using Menzerna FP2 and glaze. Wax will definitely fade fast outdoors. Are sealants any good?

A. Wash, clay bar, wax. Maybe go over it with a little quick detailer when it starts to look bad and see if that clears it up. If not, you're probably going to need to wax often. I know my Mustang sits outdoors and I wash it weekly but it's a PITA to keep it clean since it's exposed to the elements at all times.

What is the difference between walking on a treadmill vs outdoors?
Q. I have recently received a treadmill and the distance I walk is not the same as walking outdoors. I walk to music and can do 3 miles in 45 minutes but it takes longer to go the same distance on the treadmill. Why is that??
