How did the political factors contribute to the enslavement of Africans in North America?
Q. How did the economic, geographic, and political factors contribute to the enslavement of Africans in North America?
Asked by T.J. - Tue Sep 16 19:44:04 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. It had a lot to do with it from both sides. Africans were selling there own people who's villages were captured. This helped Africans because at the time the West cost of Africa wasnt able to get a lot of things imported in so selling the people allowed them to pay a lot more for people to deliever to there region. It helped America cause this place has always been built on cheap labor. Political wise it was a lot larger in Africa. IT allowed some people to take power while others lost everything. In North America getting slaves didnt hit polotics until the slaves had been here for a while and some decided that they felt slaves were human also.

Why were the Native American of North America and South America?
Q. Why were all the original natives of North America and South America have mostly brown skins, dark eyes, black hairs and not so tall stature. If they crossed over from what is now Siberia or from other parts of the European or African lands how come theres hardly no hints of any type of African or European look in them ?

A. Actually, they are supposedly desecended from Asian cultural, and they do have a slight "Asian" look to them. Siberia is in Asia. And their skin isn't brown. It's more of a russet, or coppery color.
