Q. It is a micro mosaic cross that opens. Inside has a smaller cross which has cut pieces of paper with letters. The letters are random, they go down and also across. Didn't even realize at first that there was anything inside. Where could this be from, or when? Its made of nickel silver and has no markings. A nun said it was around the 1900's and that the contents of the inner cross was blessed by a saint. I suspect the letters aren't random but are the first letters of a phrase or prayer. It would help to know what the letters are and their layout inside the cross.
