What are good literary magazines to submit fiction to?
Q. I'm looking to submit some short stories for publishing in a literary magazine. Can I have a list of some well-known and legit magazines in which I can do this? Help is appreciated!

How can I get my products promoted by certain magazines in their colums?
Q. HI, I am just starting out on a small venture of hand made products and I wanted to get my products promoted in magazines. I am interested in small articles that talk about new finds etc. How do we get the attention of those magazines? Do I send them my samples and pray for the best or is there a more sure fire way? I am talking about magazines like Oprah, Living, etcor any popular lifestayle magazines. I am guessing that once recommended, these products get great sales.

Does anyone have a good idea on what to do with cooking magazines?
Q. I have 8+ years of Taste of Home, Country Woman and other magazines that all have recipes. I love cooking magazines, but I don't know what to do with them. I can't seem to bear throwing them out even tho I know the chances of me looking at them again are basically nill. Each magazine has too many recipes to cut them out and then it would just be a pile of recipes. What have others done with their old magazines?

A. Get rid of them ... they are only cluttering your home. You can find great recipes on line from so many sites. Perhaps look into the magazine and see if they have a website and you can find all their recipes on line. Donate the magazines to your local library, high school or community centre.
