Q. If the salary for Air Traffic Control says "$40k, including 13.18% Locality Pay" What does that mean? is that 13.18% already included in the $40k? What else is there to consider when it comes to the salary? (Would you get night pay? Holiday? Sunday? Overtime?)

A. At the very bottom of this web site you can select the state in which you're looking to obtain an ATC position, and see what the local pay is ... on AVERAGE. In your particular outlined scenario the 13% is included in the $40K, and that is your overall annual pay (including overtime, holiday pay, etc). The amount of $40K is exceptionally low, unless it's at a municipal airport or similar. A main airport (national or international) can earn better than $100K per year.

A. On your IM, go to contacts, hit VIEW profile, if you know the person's yahoo ID put it in, if it's not there, there is a little thing on top that says profiles home. There you can run your search with names, or cities, or just about anything. I used it many times.

A. you could ask a local store if you can have a "soapbox" area to present what information you have. you could print out pamphlets from your house and make copies. you could also try to make your own group that cleans local parks or beaches every weekend. or also plant different types of indoor plants on your free time and give them out for FREE when people sign a waiver to have your city use "GREENER" products. it could all start with yourself and a little effort. :) good luck! We all can save the world!
