Feeling is the nominalization of "to feel". The word was first used in the English language to describe the physical sensation of touch either through experience or perception. The word is also used to describe experiences, other than the physical sensation of touch, such as "a feeling of warmth". In psychology the word is usually reserved for the conscious subjective experience of emotion. Phenomenology and heterophenomenology are philosophical approaches that provide some basis for knowledge of feelings. Many schools of psychotherapy depend on the therapist achieving some kind of understanding of the client's feelings, for which methodologies exist. Some theories of interpersonal relationships also have a role for shared feelings or understanding of another person's feelings. Perception of the physical world does not necessarily result in a universal reaction among receivers (see emotions), but varies depending on one's tendency to handle the situation, how the situation relates to the receiver's past experiences, and any number of other factors. Feelings are also known as a state of consciousness, such as that resulting from emotions, sentiments or desires. From Wikipedia under the

I didn't eat anything for 36 hours and woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was going to die. I ate an apple and now I'm fine. How long can you guys usually go without eating anything without feeling dizzy, and when you do feel dizzy, what do you eat to feel better? Thanks all so far. Asked by Stacey - Fri Jun 1 01:02:21 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. It really depends on the individual. If you want to do an extended fast (more than 24 hours or so), I suggest doing one of many juice fasts. This gives you the calories you need to get through your daily activities, while still allowing your body to detox. If you're feeling dizzy, it's probably because your sugar has gotten low. Eat something sweet, but it's best to choose something that has natural sugar -- juice or a piece of fruit -- rather than refined sugar, like candy. This allows for slow release of sugar into your bloodstream, rather than a quick spike up which will drop very quickly and leave you with the same problem. It's also advisable to get some professional guidance if this is your first fast -- speak with a… [cont.] Answered by moonbeamsinyoursunlight - Fri Jun 1 01:09:47 2007 What do you call the feeling when you look in the trees in a sunny afternoon from a far distant? Q. You know, I don't understand the feelings of mine when I look the trees from our school, in a sunny afternoon with the trees swaying from far apart. Q. I am 15 weeks pregnant with my first child. I am extremely excited about feeling the baby move for the first time. I'm just wondering how soon is normal to feel the baby move. Asked by Michael Scott due April 22, 2009 - Thu Oct 30 01:01:04 2008 - - 18 Answers - 0 Comments A. Since its your first child you probably will start to feel flutters here within 2-3 weeks. You will start to feel kicks in about 4-5 weeks. In about 10 weeks she will be kicking your butt! lol. Exciting I know I couldn't wait and thought I was just really gassy but it was baby kicks! lol. Its really exciting. Your partner, however, probably wont be able to feel babys kicks until you are about 20-21 weeks pregnant. Best of luck to you! :) Answered by Abigail Mae's Mommy!! - Thu Oct 30 01:07:51 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Feeling" |
