How to treat new internal clear pine doors?
Q. I'm planning on buying new clear pine doors and want to tone down the glaring 'newness' of the pine to a softer aged look. I would rather not paint, and quite keen on wax, such as Liberon Black Bison or Fiddes. I don't want to darken the wood too much. Does anyone have any advice about what to use and how to use it. Looking in B&Q and Homebase, they say their clear pine doors are not suitable for waxing - is this the case for all clear pine doors? Many thanks for your help.

A. Try a couple of coats of Danish Oil and then cut it back with wire wool and beeswax. It gives a lovely silky finish and will darken the wood only a little. As new pine doors will eventually change to a ginger colour, you might consider using a lime wax on them to make them appear whitened and greyed - just a thought, you need to experiment really. I'd steer clear of varnishes and polyurethane that seem to acquire a 'treacly' look.

What is a good alternative to closet doors?
Q. I have a closet thats about 10 ft by 2 ft, but I dont have closet doors. I dont want regular closet doors like the sliding doors, or the one that you pull open. I thought about curtains but Im not so sure. Any suggestions?

A. I like the shoji screen answer. But they also have sliding panel doors that you can get at Home Depot or Ikea... I think even Walmart has them now. It's on a track system and you have maybe 3 panels that you can slide back and forth. They come in vinyl or fabric, and some are like window panes.

Is it possible to make Mazda6 09 to unlock all doors when touch the driver's door handle?
Q. I've the key less access,so when I touch drivers door handle it unlocks my door, which is annoying because other people can't get in until I unlock the doors internally. Is there anyway to setup the system to unlock all doors when I touch drivers door handle? I know that if I touch passenger door's handle, it unlocks all, so there should be a way of doing this from driver's door also.
