What is Dedicated Internet Access and how much should I pay for it?
Q. I'm opening a gift shop in the lobby of a new office building. I need to have at least one voice line, a line for my merchant equipment (to process credit cards, etc.) and an Internet connection. I have a POS system, an interactive Kiosk and a laptop (all are wireless). I got a quote today for "Dedicated Internet Access" with a Bandwidth of 256 Kbps for $239/month and a setup charge of $600. It also includes a router for $50/month with a setup charge of $300. They also gave me the alternative of purchasing a router from another company. Those guys just sent me a quote for a Cisco T Modular Router, a WAN Interface card and an Airlink Access Point/Super G/2.4 gz for $840.27. I'm just so confused right now...I don't know what I need!!! A. Those prices sound ridiculous. Just get a standard DSL or cable connection unless you're in a far remote area where internet access isn't readily available, but you could even get dedicated internet access via satellite for less than what you were quoted. Cable, DSL or even satellite connections will all be at least 256Kbps and cheaper. I'm not sure what they're trying to sell you. With internet access, you could likely save yourself the cost of a econd line and process your credit card transactions through the internet. That will save you teh monthly cost of a second line as well. All you really need is a cable or DSL modem and maybe a wireless router or access point. (depending if your cable or dsl modem is also a router) Overall… [cont.]

Is a dedicated graphics card neccessary for playing sims 2?
Q. I am thinking about getting a laptop with about 2gb of ram, I also want to use this for sims 2 with expansions. Is it a must to get a laptop with a dedicated graphics card for playing the sims 2 with expansions or not?

A. No, but it will run a LOT faster if you do. And you'll need the 2gb of ram My laptop has 2 gb of ram and 287 mb of shared video memory. Granted, the graphics are choppy when i run the sims 2, but it still runs. When buying the laptop, carry a list of system requirements for the game to make sure it meets the requirements. I was sold a laptop that didn't meet the video card requirement, even though the sales assistant said it did. Of course, the best solution is to get a desktop if all you will use it for is gaming. On laptops you cannot upgrade video cards, and cannot download new video drivers (at least not from Nvidia). The inability to get new drivers will pose problems very quickly.

A. Two of the best ones I could instantly think of is "I'm Already There" by Lone Star and "Let's Roll" by DC Talk I hope you like them. Also ones I could think of is "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" by Toby Keith "Where were You When the World Stopped Turning" by Alan Jackson and I'm sure there's much more. that's just a few that came to mind.
