Do I need to start a company to do software development business in India?
Q. I am planning to start software development business in India but I don't want to register my business as a company. I won't be having a office set up to do business. The business will be done at home. To do such a business do I need to register my business as a company with the government?

A. I dont think you need to worry about licesense to start a company specially in India, but going forward its always important to do it in a professional way. India rising demands its citizens to dream big so plan slowly and atleast go for a local coportation license which is cheap and get you a current account. Once you show with some payments flowing on your account you can always go for a loan to expand. No fun in doing software development if you cant think of expansion and making it to the stock market in india. Think longer term if not now may be for brighter tommorow - go for a registered firm.

A. Marketing is a two-sided venture. One, it tells you what the desired end-users are specifically looking for in the application. Benefits, connectivity, ease-of use, support aspects, reports, etc. The final stage of marketing is presenting the finished product to the public. It's a never-ending process too because after you've started selling and promoting it, you have to continue developing and improving it. You do that by communicating with both current and potential customers and utilizing the steps itemized above.

How to find jobs in Software development?
Q. Hi, I have a degree in computer science and software development from a leading university.But still when I apply for jobs or go for interviews they ask for work experience.i tried to get into graduate programe but since my marks are not that great I cant get into such ones either. So will it be a help if I do certification courses such as CCNA and learn things like PHP on my own and develop some websites. I would also like to mention here that the reason why my marks are low is when I started the degree I had no basic knowledge in IT and therefor with minimum help with my friends I tried really hard.Because of this experience I am now really motivated to do programming than ever before.

A. I had a hard time when I first started out trying to find a job in the Aerospace industry. In the end I had to wait 4 years after graduating (including doing an MSc) to finally land a place on a graduate scheme! I didn't have great grades either during the BEng and had no industrial exprience either, so I know where you are coming from. However, things started to look up for me about a year after I had finished my MSc (yes, I had to go through another year of unemployment/temp jobs), when I finally had my break and was offered a job.
