How do guinea pigs get vitamin C in the wild?
Q. I know that guinea pigs need vitamin C daily from their diet because they can't produce it or store it on their own, but I have read that their natural diet in the wild is just grasses. Where do wild guinea pigs get their vitamin C?

A. Most animals produce vitamin C in their cells from its component parts. This means that they do not need vitamin C in their diet, because they will produce it from the food they eat. Guinea pigs, primates and humans do NOT produce vitamin C in their bodies, so they MUST get it from their diet. If they do not consume adequate amounts of vitamin C they will suffer from a deficiency called scurvy. Signs of scurvy include lethargy, diarrhoea, weight loss, and internal skeletal-muscular haemorrhage. Vitamin C is also a water-soluble vitamin, so it can not be stored in the body. A. I am a professional musician and I have played clarinet and bari sax for 18+ years. This last December, I decided to try my hand at trumpet- and so far, so good! Play a good, strong "G", and hold it. When you get the tone and steadiness just where you want it, slur up to an "A". Follow this process up, and take it SLOW. Pay attention to what your throat and tongue are doing, as well as your embochure. Try and get as even a tone as possible on every note. When you reach the first note in your range that cracks and is buzzy, stop. Start again. This time, that note will be your ending goal. Try to hear each note in your head before you play it. how do you use vitamin c powder, vitamin e oil, or vinegar powder as a natural preservative?
Q. How much of these individually or together would you use in a recipe to preserve cookies? I plan on baking my famous cookies to sell on ebay and locally. I hear people sometimes use vingegar powder to preserve baked goods, I also heard that vitamin c powder and vitamin e oil as well as flax seed make good natural preservatives. For around a 4 inch cookies, how much of these should I use to extend the shelf life of my homemade cookies?

A. You might be best off to use a vacuum sealer. There are some pretty cheap home versions available.
