How come so many beautiful girls in Singapore are not taken?
Q. Hi, I am amazed to see so many beautiful girls in Singapore being ignored by men. If a bunch of these girls is taken to Germany, there might be riots as men try to date them. Just why are Singapore men so disinterested in beautiful Singapore girls? Or they are not interested in beautiful girls of any country?

A. I guess they aren't as pretty as you thought they were.

What is a beautiful, romantic song to walk down the ailse to?
Q. I need some suggestions for either beautiful, meaningful music (preferably strings) or a beautiful song by a female singer (not celine dion or anything like that) to walk down the aisle to? The lyrics are important to me too.

A. First and foremost Congrats on your upcoming wedding...smile. When I got married I found that picking the right song was alot harder than I thought it was gonna be! I ended up going with "Inside your Heaven" by Carrie Underwood. I had them start the song while I was still standing in back of church(unseen) when song said.. Every time I see you I'm alive...I was at beginning of the aisle, with my friend fixing my train and gown (now everybody could see me and my son). When the chorus of the song began...I want to be inside your heaven..I began my walk down the aisle with my Oldest son giving me away (my father is deceased) After chorus was done slowly lower music down and begin ceremony. I also had them play the chorus of that song again… [cont.]

What was considered to be beautiful in early 19th century England women?
Q. I'm interested to know if there were other features that were considered beautiful compared to today. For example, these days it is (not accounting for differences in taste) popularly considered beautiful to have long (possibly blond) hair, large breasts, a tan, and so on... Has anyone run into historical information/studied this aspect of the past? Oh yeah, and don't say that those features I described aren't true - because I know they aren't, and that is nowhere near my own tastes. I was just giving a quick example with little thought put into it.

A. Just to get this right - - - early 19th Century would be around 1800 to say 1830s after that we are talking about the mid 19th Century... O-K... Plump but not fat, the corset thing was not yet in (that would be mid 19th) - - - wide child bearing hips, big knockers have always excited Men (and women), but the tan was out instead a pale white porcelain doll was thought best... Women wore dresses that emphasize the bosom and covered up everything else therefore hands were important! That's right, men go for what they can get - - - delicate pretty hands were a turn on (thus the Seinfield Man Hands episode had historical reverence)... Blond was o-k but brunettes tended to rule! Black hair was exotic! In an era when so much of the body… [cont.]

A. Im from WV and see alot of this problem. The clear-cutting and strip-mining.I know we cant completely stop logging and mining, we need the resources, but maybe plant a few trees for every tree they take down.Selective cutting is supposed to be practiced too but its not.Personal property gets destroyed alot by people buying land just to timber it and then not replanting. If the government would begin using the alternative energy sources that are out there it would help a great deal but with the money made in coal and oil thats not gonna happen too soon.

Why are some beautiful girls unlucky in love?
Q. Hi, Jennifer Aniston is one of the most beautiful girls ever. Yet she has been cheated/dumped by so many men. Another beautiful girl is Denise Richards. Her hubby visited hookers. What hooker can be hotter than Denise Richards? And Liz Hurley. Catherine Zeta Jones. The list goes on. Most girls will kill to be as beautiful as these. Yet the men they were close to cheated them. Just why? Something wrong with beautiful girls? Or the men around them?

Do the beautiful parts of the body constitute the whole of our being beautiful?
Q. Think about it: Imagine all the time we spend appraising the beauty of others. We only seem to appraise their beauty in respect to their many parts which are said to be "nice", "hot", "sexy", etc. We appraise the butt, the hair, the eyes, the mouth, the nose, the hands and finger nails, the breasts and size of other reproductive parts, the waist, the skin and its color and even the body's smell ( if we count that as a part). When we have these parts in a beautiful way is it then we are said to be beautiful? If we have them in a repulsive way is it then we are said to be ugly? When we have some better than others is it then we are said to be "ok"? "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is an irrelevant statement in regards to the question… [cont.]

A. It is just an optimistic dream that says things will perhaps just get better and better over time. It is rare and nice to have a dream without fears entering into it. Some people have more nice dreams than others do. It was just an optimistic dream about a potential future, nothing worse. It was not disrespectful to those around you - it was just an idea about the future getting better and better.

Q. I have a 55 Gallon Aquarium and I'm only putting one fish in it, a lionfish, I think they are very dramatic and I am having the pet store order one, which species do you think is the most beautiful?

A. i really like pterois radiata this lionfish has a much nicer clean cut look, also look at pterois antennata, another nice looking lion fish, The thing is that the two i listed, are much smaller than the volitans lionfish. There are rarer, small lionfish that will run you a lot more, but might be wort it. Try looking at the dendrochirus biocellatus, the fumanchu lionfish is a "dwarf" lionfish that is colorful and small.

Do you think being naturally beautiful really helps when it comes to an acting career?
Q. I know that you have to have acting talent but it seems like beautiful people have a much better advantage (as if talent and looks are 50-50). What do you think?
Asked by -Jay- - Sun Jan 6 14:49:32 2008 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Looks are very important, and beauty is a definite advantage, BUT...not every role calls for an attractive person. Look at all the actors other than romantic leads or ingenues in the movies you watch from now on. Many are far from beautiful. Yet they're working and making money. And a lot of pretty people aren't.

Q. Hi, I travel often in Asia and am amazed to see the beauty of Asian girls. Most of the times, people think of beautiful girls from Japan, China, India. But rarely from Korea. I was in Seoul last week and I think that Korean girls are head and shoulder above any other girls, Asian or not. Yet the world has not accepted the beauty of Korean girls. Just what is going on? Are any groups interested in letting the world know about the beautiful girls of Korea?

A. [Yet the world has not accepted the beauty of Korean girls.] It's not just Korean women either. It's Asian women in particular. Joan Chen is a great actress and very beautiful yet her talent and beauty are pretty much ignored here in the States. Gong Li is another very talented and beautiful Chinese actress but she's pretty much ignored in the West. She had two roles in US films which did nothing to enhance her popularity here. Anyway I agree...Korean and other Asian women are in a class by themselves.

How do I hang up a beautiful afghan like a tapestry?
Q. I bought a beautiful baby afghan that I would like to hang in my room as a tapestry. I want to be very gentle with it. What methods do you recommend?

A. hey vigorous... the afghan to which you refer is one that would begin with a capital "a". the word, when it begins with a lower case "a", refers to a blanket. S: (n) afghan (a blanket knitted or crocheted in strips or squares; sometimes used as a shawl) S: (n) Afghan, Afghanistani (a native or inhabitant of Afghanistan) lighten up a bit. there are far worse grammatical offences here online than the one above. and just for fun, check out this website: OH, and by the way Ms. Sweet? the dowel suggestion is probably the best one. make sure there's also a dowel on the bottom so that it hangs nicely and not sloppily. i'm sure it'll look fabulous. cheers.

A. So far I know, she is "Droupadi". Its a character of Indian myth "Mahabharat". Her father was a king and she had arranged a program, where willing bridegroom will come and show his expertise in archery, and she will select the most capable one. What happened, as everybody knew about her beauty, thousands of kings, prince and warriors attended there to show their expertise. When Droupadi came to the stage, many people suddenly got heart attack, many got feinted and everybody lost their speak for a while. And then, everybody had started to run for participating first the of the archery competition. Many old man died during that chaos. And after many dramatic sequences, she became the wife of five handsome heroic brothers.
