How much financial support is needed for freshman in college?
Q. My kids are not in college, so I dont know much about it, but he has asked me if I think he is being shanghai'd. He still pays support for his child until she gets out of college, but now her mother wants him to co sign a credit card loan and give her $6k. I kind of feel like if he is co signing loans, maybe the child support isnt supporting the child. I dont really know what to tell him, but I know he sure pays a lot of support along with all her medical, dental, etc.. He already paid tuition, dorm fees and all the rest. Do you think he is being screwed by his ex or is it that expensive to go to college? She is just a 1st yr 1st semester college dorm kid. What do they spend all the money on?

What kind of support can I find in London Ontario for Special needs children both social and educational ?
Q. I have three children, two of which have ADHD and one that suffers depression and learning disabilities. Presently they are receiving supports from a number of agencies but I wish to move from the city I am in presently. I would like to move and have been considering a number of different places. I can only do this, however, if I can find the right support for my children. Does anyone know of available supports in the London Ontario area or can direct me to the right place to get some more information. A. Okay... first off, ADHD isnt real its just being young and not caring(doctors love making money off the meds). Second, depression? wtf is depression, its not a disability. but for those learning issues id look into an accellerating learning program that eases them into it so they can catch up instead of special treatment.

A. Modern German army or WWII? The modern German army doesn't have any fire support elements at company level. The only mortars are 120mm and these are battalion weapons. Grenade launchers, machine guns and AT weapons are all squad and platoon level items. The MG3, out of production for more than 30 years is going the way of the Do Do, being fully replaced by 5.56x45mm weapons. Each squad gets a 40mm grenade launcher and a Panzerfaust 3.

A. file a motion in family court to end the child support based on the child being an adult now and served the other parent the papers. If the child is attending college then child support will continue. Check into that as well.

WELL I would suggest that you or the other parent contact the old jurisdiction and alert them of them move. if that doesnt get your case transferred then you may need to file a motion to transfer jurisdiction usually this is done when the parent has lived with the child in a new place for 6 months or so. you need to do this because each state varies on its child support guidelines and you do not want to be on the short end of any sticks

So far my ex has still not paid a penny of child support (three months after the court order was put in). He is already in arrears (my child is over a year old now). A. These people are so dumb. Okay - how did the support even start in the first place? Because there was an order from the decree. That same decree also states the stop date (s). However, how does the state know your case from a zillion other ones? Contact them in writing that they have the correct date(s). You do not need to go back to court. It is already all there! And it stops.

Would you support a tax on energy to help global warming?

A. I don't support it. The law of supply and demand dictates, that at least to some degree, demand will go down as the price continues to go up. And as gas prices go up, alternative energy will become more attractive. Even now, alternative energy tends to cost more to produce than good-old-oil, so those alternative sources don't make much economic sense. Over time, the free market can work it out just fine.

Why is a geodesic dome only self supporting, and unable to support an interior of floors and walls?
Q. I have read that support is required for floors, walls,etc. Is not the dome extremely strong? It has issues with a shallow top roof angle, but if a peak was installed there would be no problem except it needing extra support!

A. Transfer of loads. A dome distributes the load to all elements that compose it, and depends on this to retain its integrity, rather than load bearing walls and trusses found in traditional structures. That's what makes it "self supporting". Walls and floors would pull down the dome, they need to have their own support.

A. Support pantyhose come on various degrees of compression. The higher the compression the tighter they will feel. A brand like Leggs Sheer Energy will feel comfortably tight on your legs, whereas a pair of Futuro support hose will feel a lot snugger on your legs. I am a guy that wears pantyhose and have worn both brands noted above and have found them to both be comfortable and nice to wear. They definitly make your legs feel better. It all comes down to making sure you get the right size.
