How do I take care of a piercing on a 5 day backpacking trip?
Q. I am embarking on a 5 day backpacking trip and I recently got my cartilage pierced of my ear... The piercing is only a week old and I am scared of an infection. Any suggestions?

A. Go to your local tattoo parlor. Buy H2Ocean. Works better than alcohol. And doesn't sting. Just spray and go.

What can you tell me about Backpacking in Europe?
Q. So in just about a year I will be backpacking in Europe for about 5 weeks. I don't want to plan too much, I'd like to fly by the seat of my pants, but I would like to have a broad idea of great cities to visit and things to do there. If you guys have any suggestions on cities and things to do, or even travel tips that you wish you had known I'd love to hear them!

A. The general rule of travelling is this: Bring half the clothes and twice the money. It is even more so true when backpacking. Also, try to learn the basics of the language of the country you're in. Even a 'thank you' spoken poorly will do more for you than any translator (well, you know what I mean!). Have fun.

How much money roughly will I need backpacking around Mexico for 3 weeks?
Q. Please if anyone could give me a rough estimation in British Pounds of how much money I would need backpacking around Mexico (accommodation and spending money) I am starting off in Mexico City and ending in Cancun, although I'd like to avoid the extreme touristy places. Obviously I know this will depend on whether I stay in posh hotels or hostels but just a rough guess to how much mixing the two. I am going Jan/Feb. Thank you very much!!

A. Dont pay attention to that guy telling youthings to be scared. I recomend to take about 5000 american dollars. That is to cover, food, hostels, transportations, meals, some drinks and souvenirs. I think it's perfect for 15 days. Just be carefull, dont go to lonely places, stay witha group of peopel, dont speak with stargers walking in the streets, dont go aways with unknown people and take care of yourself! I'm sure you will have fun cuss Mexico is such a beautiful place and people there are super friendly! good luck!
