A. the 120M divides into 72M equity, 12M preferred stock, 36M bonds. the equity, coming from retained earnings, costs .18(72) the stock costs .15(12) the bonds cost .14(30)(1.4) the last term represents the tax burden of the bonds

A. That is a long problem, you will need to do the work. However, you can probably find some very useful tools & models on this web page. This was my Corp Fianance and Valuation professor in grad school. When it comes to Valuation, Professor Damodaran = God. Read his bio. During the summers, he teaches valuation to the newbies at many bulge bracket firms.
