Olmito is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cameron County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,198 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Brownsville–Harlingen Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Geography

Olmito is located at 26°1′11″N 97°32′5″W / 26.01972°N 97.53472°W (26.019655, -97.534690).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km²), of which, 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km², or 2.90%) of it is water.
